TOSS Provides Solution for Businesses to Comply with New Massachusetts State Regulation 201 CMR 17
Last week, February 12, 2009, the date for compliance with the new Personal Information Protection regulations (201 CMR 17.00) was changed again. The deadline for full compliance is now January 1, 2010.
This is the second time the deadline has been pushed back. It was originally January 1, 2009. In November, certain portions were pushed back to May 1, 2009, and others to January 1, 2010. Below are links to the advisory put out by the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, and the regulations.
